Hockey
Games are from 4:00pm during the week at various locations. Please be at the correct venue 30-40 minutes before game time (1st XI teams will meet 1 hour before matches). Please let your coach know if you are running late.
Games run in Term 2 and 3 and are 60 minutes long
We rely on teachers and parents for transport. Parents are expected to collect players from the games or arrange transport with others.
The teams are selected based on decisions around ability and availability.
Teams:
Boys play on Wednesday or Friday
Girls play on Thursday or Friday

Venues
Most games are at North Harbour Hockey Stadium, or at Westlake Girls High School, Kristin School, Rangitoto College and Warkworth (the new Mahurangi Turf).
Uniforms
Uniforms will be provided for all teams, and will be required to be returned to the Sports Office at the conclusion of the season. Players need to provide a hockey stick, mouth guard, shoes and shin pads. Please note that students cannot play if they do not have a mouth guard.
Fees:
The fees contribute to cover competition entry and equipment (match and training balls).
Fees need to be paid in full, or an automatic payment put in place.
Tournament Week:
Both of our 1st XI Hockey teams compete in Tournament Week each year during the first week of September, the teams will be away for approximately 1 week at the chosen location which changes year to year. There is an additional fee for Tournament Week which will include accommodation, transport, food, entry fees and teacher relief. Players in these teams are expected to attend these tournaments as part of their commitment to the team.
