Design and Visual Communication
In Design and Visual Communication students learn and apply drawing techniques and design practice to conceptualise, develop and communicate design ideas and potential outcomes. The courses offered aim to unlock creativity and use inspiration for the design of places, spaces, people and products. There is a focus on idea generation and students will learn a range of techniques that help them to create and visually communicate their own ideas. Students will gain skills in freehand sketching, rendering, 2D and 3D drawing, model making and Computer Aided Design (CAD). Design and Visual Communication can lead to careers in architecture, interior design, product design, spatial design, landscape design and graphic design.
