We have changed our plans for this week in response to a direction this afternoon from the Secretary of Education:

With the possibility of further weather damage leading to more disruption, the Secretary for Education has directed that schools, kura, early learning services and tertiary organisations in the Auckland region (Wellsford to Pukekohe) to close for physical attendance and instruction until Tuesday 7 February.

Northcote College will delay our first days for students until next week. We are moving everything we would have done this week to next week.

TUESDAY 7 FEBRUARY -YEAR 9 - 9am :
Pōwhiri for Year 9 students and their whānau, followed by peer support programme

WEDNESDAY 8 FEBRUARY - ALL STUDENTS
Updated start of year details will be on the website tomorrow morning. www.northcote.school.nz

Senior students who still need to confirm their timetable should contact their Dean.

Thank you for your understanding and support. This is certainly not how we expected to start the school year. We have made the decision to move the start of the year rather than moving to online learning.
