Roman wins trampolining silver at Australian champs

We’re so proud of Roman McEvedy – who has won a silver medal in Trampolining at the TRA 2024 Australian Gymnastics Championships on the Gold Coast.

Roman competed as part of team selected to represent New Zealand at the champs.

His silver medal in the 15-16 Mens event is the result of a lot of hard work – training an hour and a half, four nights a week, perfecting highly difficult and technical flips.

The Year 11 student’s next big goal is next year’s World Championships … and he’s quietly hoping to one day be selected for the Olympics.

Bravo Roman! A well-deserved result.
