Felix Nguyen wins 2nd place in Chinese Bridge contest
We’re very proud of all the Northcote College students who entered the 17th Chinese Bridge competition. Special congratulations to Felix Nguyen (12PTN), who excelled with impressive performances in speech, Q&A, and talent show – securing second place overall from participants from 34 schools across New Zealand.
Ema Leksani (9WRI) was highly acclaimed for her lion dance and fan dance (using, for the first time, AI technology to integrate music and lyrics for the dance).
Emma Louis’ speech and calligraphy, Melissa Lai’s paper cutting, Nelcie Torio playing guitar and singing, and Henry Tran singing were also of a high standard and very well received.
