Senior Course Confirmation for students in Years 11, 12 and 13 is on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st January which is before the first timetabled day of Term 1. This is for senior students who may not have met the entry requirements for their selected subjects or who may want to chat with the dean about their course. Students are urged to check their emails in the last week of January. If they need to come in for Course Confirmation to discuss their timetable, their dean will contact them with the day and time to come in to meet.

First day for Year 9 students: Monday 3 February 9am - 3.30pm. The day starts with a Pōwhiri, and whānau are welcome to attend. We ask that Year 9 students and parents/caregivers are ready outside the Northcote College school hall through Gate 1 on Kauri Glen Road before 9:00am. Students are expected to be in correct school uniform and should bring morning tea, lunch, water, and a pen. A laptop/chromebook is not required on the very first day.

First timetabled day of the school year for all students Years 9-13: Tuesday 4 February. Year 9 students have digital induction at 9am. All other levels begin the day with form period at 9.30am, and this will be followed by subject classes. Students should have everything they need for learning (including a chromebook or compact laptop) on the first day and that they are in the correct uniform.
